The flag of the Airforces of the Republic of Lithuania (Lietuvos Respublikos karines oro pajegos): The white cloth charged with the State flag in the upper left quarter and with stylized azure wings and double cross of Jogaila family in lower right quarter. The cross of Jogaila family is white bordered with two black bends. The relationship of the width of the flag to the length is 1:2.

Aircraft Marking

From Album 2000 [pay00] - Aircraft Marking - Black fimbriated white two-crossbars cross ("Vytis cross"). The white border all around is not given in [cos98]. The first Lithuanian aricraft marking, that in use in 1919-1920 was more flag related, being a tricolour diamond (as in Brazilian flag) with the Vytis rider in the central red diamond field. In 1920-21 it was found to complicated, and it was replaced by red shield with white Vytis cross, and in 1921 the current design was introduced. Disontinued in 1940, or course. Paramilitary National Guard used tall red shield with Vytis cross in 1936-1940.
